Dr. Ricardo Blaug is Associate Director at the Research Republic and a leading researcher in democracy, participation and deliberation. He has extensive expertise in public sector management and organizational development, and has worked with local authorities, social service departments and voluntary groups. An award-winning author with over thirty published articles and books, he is currently based at the Centre for the Study of Democracy at the University of Westminster. He has worked as a psychiatric social worker, and has also taught at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands and the University of Leeds.
Rohit Lekhi is Director of Research, where he has strategic responsibility for all research projects undertaken by the Republic and manages a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and associates. He is an expert in market regulation, the knowledge economy and public service reform, and has written research reports for a wide range of public agencies and private companies, including the BBC, the Corporation of London and the Office of Fair Trading. Prior to founding Research Republic, Rohit pursued a successful academic career, as a Lecturer in Politics and Public Policy at the University of Warwick, and as a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester.
